It is an undeniable fact that RIM has really hit it big in the smartphone world and the fact that internet packages on Blackberry is less expensive than what we used to have on other devices and also their data is unlimited bandwidth is a giant factor in the success of RIM. This factor, at a point in time almost got me buying a Blackberry even when I have no interest in it.
But something happened recently, RIM launched Blackberry OS 10 and loaded it into their latest smartphone, the Blackberry Z10 which is popularly known as Blackberry Bold 10. According to RIM, the Blackberry OS 10 will not support BIS which means one will have to subscribe to a non-BIS data plan which is more expensive and comes with restricted data.
...So what do you get to enjoy?
What will happen to old and upcoming Blackberry devices?
Apart from these category of people, there are others who uses the device because of its cheap internet subscription, now that BIS is not working with newer blackberry operating systems they would probably switch to other OS like Android, iOS or Windows 8 phone because these OSes seems to be stable than an OS that's just developing.
